About Line
Line asks for a phone number when you create an account or when it wants to confirm it's you. A separate number keeps your personal one private, and works when you don't have a SIM card from the right country.

How Line sends the code
Line usually sends its code by SMS to the number you enter. Our numbers receive SMS only, so if Line offers a call instead, ask for the SMS.
When the Line code doesn't arrive
- The number was already used on Line, so Line refuses it or sends the code somewhere else. Take another number.
- You asked for the code several times in a row. Many apps make you wait longer after each try.
- Line chose not to send to this number or country. Cancel for a full refund and try another country.
